Some of the dangers of pandemic fatigue :-
After almost two years, no one should be surprised, many of them, at least, are tired of this terrible epidemic, or so far - more than it is, stressful and satisfying - and its fatigue, and its impact on our lives! However, this should not and cannot justify absolute disregard for some, in terms of respect for the common good, adherence to the fundamentals of common sense, public health and preventive measures!
How did this become another political issue?
with so many people apparently putting their personal/political interests and agenda first?
How many people should be infected and/or hospitalized and put others at risk and/or die? Many older people have lost their battle, as have the immune system, and we still don't know all the potential long - term consequences and effects!
Why is this nation, despite its efforts and spending, among the lowest rates of vaccination in the world among first class and developed countries? Everyone's tired of this, and they want to get back to normal, but the efforts of a minority are detrimental to our overall efforts and to the possibility of improving our efforts! With that in mind.
this article will try to study this and briefly review it, and why we should do better:-
1) conspiracy theories: For some reasons, some prefer to believe and accept unfounded views rather than facts. He started banishing, turned into accusations, created harmful resistance. Anyone who hasn't witnessed or lived through the loss of a relative? While everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion, in his or her own set of facts he or she is not entitled to do so. One thing if your actions only hurt you, but quite another thing, when you endanger others!
2) Politics: Why did this become political, like so many issues, apparently, common sense? There's a big difference between a viable solution, a well - thought out plan, versus blame, complaint, denial and stubbornness!
3) Mike Bloomberg likes to say, "Data and science are important." "Have faith in God. Bring the data, everyone else." History has shown that meaningful and fact-based efforts require a science-based plan, one that is supported by experts and experts in public, medical, and scientific health.
4) Resistance to assignment : Although we have seen public health inspectors, in the past, we seem to see the most polarized nation, in recent memory! Just because you don't agree, doesn't mean you know more than eerts!
Either we continue to operate in a more unified way or we prolong the horrors. Wake up, America, before so many others, you lose this fight! It's up to all of us!
