Republican Senator Ted Cruz called President Joe Biden's plan to appoint a black woman to the Supreme Court "offensive" on Sunday :-
"I see that I have to say sometimes offending because he's willing to say that she'd better be a black lady."Did you know that women and men account for 7% of all black women in America?"
"Judgment with Ted Cruz," according to Ted Cruz's podcast.
"Now she's actually bad at dealing with black women, "he can honestly say. I'm going to look at people and choose a good lawyer. then I'm gonna run for a black woman." " He was able to say it openly.. If you're a white woman, you're out of luck."You have been ruled ineligible."
Last Wednesday, news broke of Judge Stephen Brier's intention to retire this summer, sparking speculation about Biden's first Supreme Court pick. The White House was soon questioned about whether Biden intended to pursue his 2020 campaign promise to appoint the first black woman to the Supreme Court in U.S. history. During a press conference the next day, White House Press Secretary Jeanne Basaki confirmed to reporters that Biden would be speaking.
Biden's announcement :-
The next day, Biden announced Brier's decision to resign and stated that he intended to honour his promise to nominate the country's first black woman to the Supreme Court.
I looked into one thing about an optional search: the person I choose will have great credentials, appropriate personality, reasonable experience, and straight honesty. On Thursday, Biden announced that she was.
will be the Supreme Court's first black female justice. There is no longer any time, in my opinion :-
- Judge Kitanji Brown Jackson of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, California Supreme Court Justice Leondra Kruger, and South Carolina Federal District Judge J. K. Krueger were all named as judges. Brier.
- Other Republicans opposed Biden's choice of a black woman in the Supreme Court, where Mississippi Senator Roger Wicker recently claimed the candidate would be the "beneficiary" of affirmative action.
- In my view, American President Joe Biden is working to bring down racism in America in order to end the conflict between whites and blacks, and that puts the American people at peace, far from racism, which can raise problems between them.
