Even his daughter was not extradited from him. Conviction of a famous star for 6 sexual exploitation charges!

A U.S. District Court jury in Chicago convicted American star R. Kelly of 6 out of 13 counts of sexual exploitation and possession of child pornography.

Jennifer Bongian, Kelly's lawyer, said her client had a "sense of satisfaction" that the case was now behind him, and felt that prosecutors had exaggerated their position against him. Stressing that she is considering an appeal.

Bunjian added:

"If the jury finds him guilty on the first three charges, would they care enough to consider the evidence of the rest? They showed that they did. They did their job. examined each charge separately ".

Jurors discussed for about 10 hours after hearing testimony for 3 weeks

including testimony from a woman who said Kelly had sexually abused her, and recorded this when she was 14 years old.

During the 5-week trial, several women told jurors that Kelly, 55, sexually abused them when they were minors, and the jury also saw a video of Kelly harassing his daughter in baptism, who testified that the assaults began in the 1990s as a teenager.

Kelly and his co-defendants

Milton John Brown and Derrell McDavid, were acquitted of conspiracy to obtain child pornography, and of conspiracy to obstruct justice in the Cook County case in 2002.

They were charged with attempting to bribe and threaten witnesses in the 2008 Illinois case, in which Kelly was acquitted of 14 counts of child pornography.
