Trump repeatedly lied about Secret Service concerns to get rid of NY AG

According to two people familiar with the situation, in the records of the Special Court, former President Donald Trump made an effort to avoid visiting the New York Attorney General's Office last month by telling the judge that the Secret Service had security reservations over the AG's office.

  • According to these two sources and a third person familiar with the conversations
  • Trump's legal team asked for transfer of hot interview at AG office
  • To a more suitable place for the former President: Trump Tower
  • In the days before August. 10 deposit.

Both sources stated that Trump's legal team informed state investigators through correspondence provided in secret that the intelligence service opposed his transfer to the AG office in Manhattan's financial district.

The former president was to be present at the 60-storey skyscraper at 28 Liberty Street

located just across the street from a building owned by Donald Trump, and the letter cited some safety concerns, according to the Daily Beast.

But interestingly, according to two people, there was no official confirmation or statement from the law enforcement agency itself regarding these secret court files.

The Tribunal's general schedule does not contain a list of correspondence.

Trump's latest efforts were unsuccessful, and the interview with AG Letitia James continued as scheduled.

The Fifth Amendment repeatedly called for avoiding answers to questions, which helped the civil AG case that the Trump Organization frequently engages in commercial fraud, evades taxes, and inflates the value of a number of properties across the country.

When contacted on Tuesday, the Secret Service was unaware of any alleged security risk and was not aware of any court documents describing them. The allegations made them unawares.

According to Anthony Guglielmi, the Secret Service is "not aware of any security concerns in the New York State Attorney's Office," as stated in a statement to the Daily Beast.

Alina Habba, Trump's attorney in the lawsuit, declined to comment on the correspondence, telling The Daily Beast that the court had ordered it to be kept confidential.

After more than seven months of delayed tactics

the idea emerged that Trump tried to change the terms of the game before his interview with law enforcement. Initially, Trump violated a subpoena and failed to attend; Later, he was found in contempt and fined $110,000 for not delivering paperwork

Finally, after losing an appeal in New York state court, he surrendered.

What could be the real reason, however, if Secret Service personnel were not concerned about Trump's safe haven?

Former Trump aides claimed to be aware of this.

  • He had control from behind the large desk where he was seated.
  • That is the only thing I can think of.
  • It's his office, with chairs everywhere.

Barbara Rees, a former executive at Trump Construction, said, "It puts him in a very superior position."

Reese, author of his autobiography about the Tower of Lies, noted that Trump maintains a very open workplace that might seem welcome at first. However, the power structure will shift once you enter the office.

Three former aides told The Daily Beast that they expected Trump to take a seat in his enormous rotating chair, upholstered with burgundy skin and atop red velvet egg-shaped baskets used as visitors' seats.

He controls the room... He feels more comfortable in his space. Stephanie Winston Wolkoff said:

There's a sense of gravity when you walk into his office... It is his land .

Winston Wolkoff, who also wrote a book saying everything, said Melania and I that AG investigators would have found themselves surrounded by Time magazine covers with Trump's face and all sorts of memorabilia on every wall of the office - the inner sanctuary of Trump's shrine to himself.
