in the case of the attack on Pelosi's husband..

CBS today quoted security sources as saying that the suspect in the attack on Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband had drawn up a list of people he wanted to attack.

According to these sources, the list was not necessarily a "murder list", but the US authorities assume that the attacker may have planned attacks on other people.

The suspect, David Debbie

  1. appeared in court on Tuesday
  2. while sources indicated that
  3. the Public Prosecutor's Office

was not in a hurry to charge the suspect, as he was in custody and no longer posed a threat to others.

The channel examined posts allegedly written by the attacker on social media, promoting conspiracy theories about Holocaust denial, the obsession with sexual exploitation of children in the United States Government, and allegations that members of the Democratic Party run child sexual exploitation organizations.

On the morning of October 28

Pelosi's press office reported that an attacker had broken into her home in San Francisco and carried out a "brutal attack on Mr. Paul Pelosi (Nancy Pelosi's husband)"

while a successful operation was carried out for Paul Pelosi, 82, in connection with a skull fracture and serious injuries to his right arm and hands.

San Francisco

police later reported that the attacker had been found to be David Debbie, aged 42, whose actions had not been motivated. According to CNN, Nancy Pelosi was the attacker's target, but she was not home at the time of the incident.

Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, said she and her family were "heartbroken and shocked" by the violent attack on her husband at their home in California.

On her Twitter account

Nancy Pelosi added:

She wrote in her letter that her husband's condition "continues to improve" and added, "We are grateful for the quick response of law enforcement and emergency agencies as well as for the vital medical treatment received by Paul.

After entering their home

  1. the attacker "asked to see me
  2. (she was outside the house)
  3. and brutally attacked my husband Paul."

According to a spokesman for the US House Speaker

the man who attacked Nancy Pelosi's husband at the couple's home last Friday morning was already looking for the Democrat leader, pointing out that Paul Pelosi, in his eighth decade,"underwent successful surgery for serious injuries to his right arm and hand and a fractured skull."

US media quoted sources close to

Pelosi's family that the attacker told

Paul Pelosi that he would restrain him and await the arrival of his wife, Nancy, who was in Washington at the time.

Local media had previously reported that the attacker had shouted:

"Where is Nancy?"

The Wall Street Journal reported that the attacker had adopted extreme right-wing attitudes on social media.
