After CNN.. Trump threatens to sue a large number of other media outlets in weeks or months


Former US President Donald Trump threatened to sue other media outlets within weeks or months, following a lawsuit against CNN.


Trump sued CNN for $457 million in damages, according to court documents. The former President accuses the television channel of defamation.


 His lawyers say the channel's attacks on their client have escalated in recent months due to "fears that he could run for president in 2024."


We will also file cases in the upcoming weeks or months against a huge number of additional


  1.  false media outlets for their lies
  2. slander and bad faith
  3. Trump said in a statement posted on social media.


He also noted that a lawsuit could be filed against 

the Commission of Inquiry into the Capitol invasion


accusing its members of not wanting to investigate violations during the 2020 presidential election, but working against "people and patriots who complained and asked questions about it.


Trump added :

  •  The case was filed today against the once prestigious CNN television network
  • which was turned into a provider of misinformation
  • slander and fake news... I am proud to bring the case today ".


Throughout his career and political career :


Trump has repeatedly threatened to sue media organizations for their news coverage, which he considers unfair or disrespectful, of his activities.


Although he has rarely pursued this, his attacks on the media have become a key element of his political message, often cited in fund-raising requests in the run-up to this year's congressional midterm elections.


In 2020, his campaign sued The NewYork Times and The Washington Post over op-eds linking Trump to Russian interference in the U.S. election. His case against the Times was dismissed.



Trump is suing CNN 

for $475 million in damages for "defamation"


Former US President Donald Trump sued CNN for defamation, demanding $475 million in damages.


Trump accused the network of carrying out a "campaign of slander and slander" against him in his lawsuit against the network before a U.S. court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.


The Network had used its influence as a leading news organization to defeat it politically.


CNN declined to comment on the case.


  • Trump claimed in the lawsuit that CNN

The lawsuit comes as the former president faces a criminal investigation by the Justice Department to keep government records at his Florida home after leaving office in January 2021.
