Trump:
Iran would have developed a nuclear weapon
within weeks had it not been for the US strikes
US President Donald Trump claimed that Iran would have been able to develop a nuclear weapon in just four weeks had it not been for US airstrikes on its nuclear facilities last June.
Trump said
in an interview with American journalist Mark Levin: "I think they would have obtained the nuclear weapon within four weeks, and they would have used it", referring to what he considered "a serious threat from Tehran".
Trump also described himself
and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as "war heroes,"
saying
- "He is a war hero because we work together.
- I think I am too. I was the one who sent those planes to
- bomb Iranian nuclear facilities, but no one admits that.
