Trump criticizes the United Nations

and European leaders Your countries will go to hell

US President Donald Trump has harshly criticized the United Nations and European leaders, warning that their immigration and renewable energy policies are leading Europe to "destruction."

During

a speech at the UN

  • General Assembly meeting that lasted about an hour
  • four times the officially allotted time
  • Trump called on countries to

put their national interests above

any global cooperative agenda, stressing that "uncontrolled migration and the high costs of green energy are destroying a large part of the free world".

Addressing leaders gathered in New York

Trump said:

"If you want to regain your greatness, you need strong borders and traditional energy sources", adding that "many European countries are on the brink of the abyss due to the green energy agenda and uncontrolled immigration", describing the two issues as "a two-headed monster destroying Europe".

Trump went so far as to explicitly threaten

saying:

Without quick action on immigration, your countries will go to hell", and called for "an immediate end to the failed open border experiment".

Trump has also explicitly questioned

the feasibility of combating climate change, opposing UN-backed international climate commitments aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

His position opposes the organization's policies, which support a global migration and asylum system and provide protection for refugees fleeing wars and conflicts.

Despite

  • his sharp criticism of the United Nations
  • Trump described the organization as having "tremendous potential"
  • but considered its priorities "wrong" and inconsistent

with the interests of sovereign states.

It is noteworthy that during his term

Trump had withdrawn from the Paris Climate Agreement and taken strict measures to limit immigration to the United States, but he rarely explicitly

 called on :

  • other countries to follow the same approach
  • until his last speech at the United Nations came to
  • devote this message publicly and firmly.

Trump launches

a violent attack on the United Nations from its podium

  • US President Donald Trump told the UN General Assembly that
  • the peace achieved during his first presidential term had
  • "collapsed," paving the way for "the greatest crises."

It has been six years since

I last stood in this great hall addressing a world that was prosperous and peaceful during my first term," Trump said. Since that day, the weapons of

war have destroyed

  • the peace they established on two continents
  • replacing the era of calm and stability with one of
  • the greatest eras of crisis of our time.

In his speech

  • the US President accused the United Nations of not working to
  • settle global conflicts. "I realized the United Nations

He also expressed

his belief that the United Nations has "tremendous potential," but the organization does not exploit it "even remotely," including in conflict resolution matters.

The UN has really huge potential

I've always said that," he said. At least now. It seems that words are still stronger than actions, so far something - just empty words, and empty words do not stop a war. The only thing that will allow this is actions."

From the Assembly's podium

the US President wondered about the meaning of the existence of this body, noting that the international organization does not support his efforts to achieve peace.

Trump added:

  • "I was very busy working to save millions of lives and end wars"
  • But I later realized that the United Nations was not helping us.
  • If so, what is the use of the United Nations?

He announced that

he came to the international organization with the aim of extending an "American leadership hand" to countries ready to join the United States in building a safer world. "Today I have come to extend the hand of American leadership

and friendship to

any nation in this Assembly that is willing to join us in building a safer and more prosperous world," he said. This world will be much happier."

Trump:

We will continue to sell weapons to NATO countries so

they can do whatever they want with them

US President Donald Trump

said

  • that the United States will continue to supply weapons to
  • NATO countries so that these countries can dispose of
  • them in the manner they see fit.

Commenting on

  1. the situation in Ukraine, following his talks with Vladimir Zelensky on
  2. the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York
  3. Trump added: "We will continue to supply weapons to NATO
  4. so that the alliance can dispose of them as it pleases".

Trump

pointed this out, via his page on the social media platform Truth Social

when he spoke about the West continuing to provide military aid to Kiev.

On July 14

Trump announced that

  • Washington had decided to continue transferring weapons
  • and military equipment to Kiev on the condition that Europe
  • pay the "full bill". NATO will coordinate this process.

Moscow

has repeatedly stressed that

the West's sending of weapons to Kiev and assistance in training Ukrainian forces only prolongs the conflict and does not change the situation on the battlefield.
