Biden:
Ukraine's conventional ammunition has run out
and we will provide it with cluster :
US President Joe Biden said that the Kiev regime had run out of
ammunition to provide Ukraine with cluster munitions to continue
the counter-attack :
- arguing that the decision to
- hand them over was "not easy

Biden explained in an interview with CNN that "I followed the Pentagon's recommendation on providing Ukraine with cluster munitions."

The Pentagon and the United States Department of State have announced the preparation of a new $800 million military assistance package for Ukraine
including cluster munitions
for artillery pieces and dozens of armoured vehicles.
- Cluster munitions are reportedly prohibited
- weapons under an international convention ratified
- by 123 States, with the exception of the United States and Ukraine.
Russia's first official comment on
Washington's announcement to provide Kiev with banned cluster bombs
The Russian State Duma's deputy for Crimea
Sergei Tsikov
stressed that the use of American cluster bombs in
Ukraine could cause mass death of the civilian population.
Tsikov told the Novosti news agency that :
the use of American cluster munitions in Ukraine could lead to the death of large numbers of civilians", expressing the hope that "our armed forces will work to destroy these munitions prior to their use .
It should be noted that :
the United States Pentagon and the United States
- Department of State announced the preparation of
- a fresh military aid package at $800 million for Ukraine
- which will include cluster munitions for artillery pieces
and dozens of armoured vehicles.
Cluster munitions are prohibited under an international convention ratified by 123 States, with the exception of the United States and Ukraine.
