Trump: We will create better conditions for people in Gaza

and engage with wealthy countries for reconstruction


US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday a plan to improve living conditions in the Gaza Strip, describing the current situation as a "terrible" place.



This came in statements made by Trump, in which he affirmed his determination to "create a place in Gaza where people can live in better conditions".


Trump indicated positive interaction with the American plans, claiming that "everyone is dancing in the streets with joy in Arab and Islamic countries".


The US President explained that the current priority is to "recover

the hostages first", expressing his belief that "things will go well" after that.


He revealed that the US administration

is in contact with "wealthy countries that will provide money to Gaza," noting that "there are very wealthy countries that will engage in the reconstruction of Gaza," and Trump pointed out that the cost of reconstruction is not high for these countries "because they have a lot of money."


In turn

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that recent events "will pave the way for Gaza to become a livable place," referring to positive developments on the path to improving conditions in the Strip.


These statements come within the framework of international efforts to achieve stability in the region and end the human suffering in the Gaza Strip.


Hamas had announced that

  • an agreement had been reached to end the war on 
  • the Gaza Strip, which includes the withdrawal of Israeli forces
  • the entry of humanitarian aid, and the exchange of prisoners.


Meanwhile

  • the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
  • Netanyahu announced that the ceasefire in the Gaza
  • Strip will enter into force only after the government approves it.

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that the war in Gaza is over, expressing his belief that peace will be permanent, and indicated that he will try to attend the signing ceremony of the agreement in Egypt.


 Trump said:

We have ended the war in Gaza and I believe there will be lasting peace. 

All the countries in the region agreed on peace

and the hostages will be released on Monday or Tuesday,"

 adding

"Hamas has lost about 70,000 people and this war must stop."


He indicated that

he would seek to visit the Middle East

explaining: 

"I will try to go to the Middle East and there will be a signing ceremony 

for the agreement in Egypt", adding, "We are proud of 

our role in putting an end to the horrific conflict in Gaza".


The US President continued: 

"Several countries will provide a lot of money to Gaza

  1. and Gaza will be rebuilt slowly
  2. and what will happen
  3. will be very wonderful

for the Strip. The whole world has united around

the ceasefire efforts in Gaza, even the parties that did not agree with it."


He also expressed his gratitude to the mediators, saying: "I am grateful to the leaders of Qatar, Egypt and Turkey for helping us reach this wonderful outcome".


US President Donald Trump

announced that Israel and Hamas signed today, Thursday, the first phase of his plan to stop the war in the Gaza Strip and exchange prisoners.


The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) also announced reaching an agreement to end the war on the Gaza Strip, which includes the withdrawal of Israeli forces, the entry of humanitarian aid, and the exchange of prisoners.


This comes

shortly after increasing estimates

  • and successive statements indicating that an agreement is close to 
  • being reached in the negotiations on ending the war on Gaza
  •  which are being held in the Egyptian city of Sharm

el-Sheikh

in light of US President Donald Trump's confirmation that an agreement is very imminent, indicating that he may visit the Middle East at the end of this week.
